The option to make a video with a friend on Instagram has been around since 2017 and now it’s arrived on Twitter too!
On May 29, the social network announced the news through a video tutorial , explaining how this new tool works.
Twitter Live now allows users to invite up to 3 people to participate in the broadcast simultaneously, but there is still one limitation: guests cannot participate via video, only via audio and written comments.
Twitter has already announced that it is looking for ways to also allow the visual experience for live guests. Android and iOS users can already use the tool.
How does Twitter Live with guests work?
To join a friend’s live stream or allow other telegram number list to join your broadcast, the process is very simple. Take a look:
- Click on the camera icon on your timeline and select the “Live” option for a live broadcast.
- To allow other users to participate, simply click on the icon located in the upper right corner, represented by two smiley faces, as shown in the image above. Then just tap on “Go live” to start your broadcast.
- By allowing other users to join your stream, any viewer will be able to send you a request to join. When someone makes this request, a new notification will appear in the chat.
- Tap the “+” icon to add them to your broadcast and wait for the 5-second countdown for them to start participating. If you want to remove users, simply tap the “X” icon located in the top right corner of their avatar.
- You can also view all requests to join by tapping the guest icon in the bottom bar of your broadcast. Please note that only 3 guests can join your video and only via audio.
Pretty simple, right?
Now, if you’re a viewer of the broadcast and check your website loading speed to join in on the interaction, simply tap the guest icon and click “ask to join.” The broadcaster should approve your request, and after the 5-second countdown, you’ll be live! You also have the option to leave the video at any time.
